Just curious if anyone has any news about the proposed "L" fund which is supposed to be released by TSP early next year. Seems to me the TSP Board would be better advised to start a small cap or mid cap value fund rather than this fund. To me it looks like a gimmick.

It is a crutch for the uninformed of which there are many, thus the need for this site :^

I agree. This could help the G fund dwellers but for anyone with a little knowledge, other choices would have been more beneficial.

Found this interesting. They want to ad 3 to 5 different options to the “L Funds”. Does this mean 3 to 5 more management fees.

Why not just give different allocation options depending on the time line and how aggressive you want to go. Save us the management fee. Better yet send the fee to Tom’s site.
