"Woods was treated and released from a hospital in good condition, his spokesman said. The Florida Highway Patrol said Woods' vehicle hit a fire hydrant and a tree in his neighbor's yard as he pulled out of his driveway at 2:25 a.m.

Windermere police chief Daniel Saylor told The Associated Press that officers found the 33-year-old PGA star laying in the street with his wife, Elin, hovering over him.

She told officers she was in the house when she heard the accident and "came out and broke the back window with a golf club."

Woods had lacerations to his upper and lower lips, and he had blood in his mouth, Saylor said.

The chief said Woods was in and out of consciousness when his two officers arrived. He said the officers held Woods to the ground and "when he woke up, he tried to get up and lost consciousness."

He said officers treated Woods for 10 minutes until an ambulance arrived."

very true handballer. one of my faults once led to $200 per hour legal fees, so perhaps i'm a little wary, but i refuse to quit being an optimist and believing that things/people can improve, including myself, i work at it every day.

My guess is 99.99% of this mainly stems from him being a 'black man'. Same with Micheal Jordan.

Tiger was one of the very few given the opportunity to rise as high as he did. Yes he was (and is) a great golfer and won numerous victories....

But what really stood out was his 'Character'. He carried himself in such a way that 'demanded respect' .... not because he in anyway tried to puff himself up -- but because of his humble, respectful lifestyle -- which he demonstrated over and over.

He and Mike were some of the very few --- born with the right looks and able to walk and live in a manner that showed an appropriate confidence and assurance.

So basically all this boils down to a 'drive' that is hard to stop and one that largely dominates our existence. Somehow we crave the opportunity to tear another person down -- to trash them endlessly and pretend that 'we're above them'.

The truth is -- if I could highlight and broadcast every skeleton any of you are hiding -- no one would be safe.

The asterisks don't work, it's obvious what is written. Light cursing is OK, like Damn, CACA etc. But due to this site being an open forum we need to realize that some folks don't want to read that kind of talk so I'm trying to discourage the use of that word and others that are inappropriate. No big deal, others have been using it, just try and help me out.
Found the Gifs and Jpgs online, there are sites that have hundreds FREE, just search for Free animated gifs, jpg and you'll find plenty. Oh, you can copy any posted on this site by right clicking and save to your computer.

Tiger's last statement about taking indefinite time off to do whatever with "his" family is just another glimpse of his lack of touch with reality. This is not up to him (it is up to her). And mark my words, this is not going to be another Bill Clinton/Kobe Bryant wife "mulligan".

She is in Sweden and she ain't comin back. Not for money (she'll have plenty anyway, after the divorce), not for "what's best for the kids" (i.e., its not that great for kids to live with parents together, who hate each other because one is a serial cheater), and sure as hell not for him.

As for his endorsements, Nike won't drop him becaue their golf equipment is utter crap, and wouldn't sell except that Tiger (and Anthony Kim) are the only significant pros who use it (actually, Tiger only has one stock Nike club, the 3 wood, the rest of them are custom blades, and a scotty cameron putter with a ping grip that he gets nothing for endorsement).

If Nike does drop Tiger, it would be the best thing that happened to his golf game which is pretty hard to top as it is with Nike junk clubs. He would go back to Titleist and the pro tour would really be boring with Tiger winning 3 out of every 4 majors for the next decade.

There could easliy be more and the total may never be accurate. We know that many of these women (and I would say his wife for sure) were incredibly beautiful. I'd say there is a very good chance that everyone of them was amazingly 'sexey' and were able to stimulate a high degree of chemistry and energy.

The BOTTOM LINE for him (and us) is that we are highly susceptiable to 'addictions' and once a certain 'MINDSET' dominates our existence then it's pretty much impossible to escape. Obviously for him it was 'The Thrill' of a new woman -- but no matter who she was or what she had or what she did eventually she got 'old' and he was ready to be rediscovered with another woman.

Another 'universal' lesson is the longer we get by with it the more we are 'convinced' that we are smart enough, powerful enough, rich enough ... or whatever to never get caught. So the pattern deepens and the 'addiction' gets worse.

His 'addiction' was women -- ours may be 'gambling' or something else.

His eventual 'downfall' was unavoidable and that is the greatest lesson everyone should learn. There is simply no way possible an addiction can get out of hand and get stronger -- First one woman, then another, then another... before it all comes out.

His job is to deal with it -- find the deep inner decent person he was before all this happened and let that person come to life.

Our job is to allow that to happen -- without judgement or condemnation.
