Quality of Life?

Norway tops the list.

This year, United States falls to 13th on the list, compiled by the United Nations Human Development Program.

the news story is the link above.

The UN report is here:

What do you think? Should we be #13?

I apologize in advance for this one, but I just got this in an email today and the #13 was too coincidental...

How I learned to mind my own business

I was walking past the mental hospital the other day,
And all the patients were shouting, '13....13....13.'

The fence was too high to see over, but I saw a
Little gap in the planks, so I looked through to see
What was going on.....
.
.
.
.
.
.
Somebody poked me in the eye with a stick!

Then they all started shouting '14....14....14'...

Let's count the number of countries on the list who have socialized healthcare. Wow, it seems to be ALL of them.

Then why do Canadians come to the US for healthcare....cause there's a long waiting list to get a CAT Scan, and then treatment if necessary. Just another item necessary to complete the socialist spectrum.

Or the number of Americans going across the border to get affordable healthcare, courtesy of the Canadian taxpayers.

Well look at that. Your beloved Cuba is 51. Only slightly better than Mexico at 53.

Sorry, I'll take thirteen and live with my non progressive healthcare industry!

And their life expectancy is very near our own. Isn't that just sad?
