I am learning fast, I am not happy at all about:sTSP.GOV :(
I just lost almost $500 today because TSP.GOV did not transfer my money to the G account at the time of my transaction. TSP.GOV takes one or two days to do the transaction, this does not give us the chance to follow the market daily. It has to be followed at the most weekly. So I will have to work with the weekly averages or every 10 days and then make my moves hoping that TSP.GOV moves my moeny on a good day.

Should we demand a better response time for money transffer from TSP.GOV or it is just dumb to pretend to follow this on a daily basis. (maybe both things should be true)

You have to make sure the transfer is completed before the 12 noon Eastern Time deadline (11 CT, 10 MT, 9 PT, HI and AK ?). Then it will be effective the following day. I have never had a problem.

:(I did the request on the 29th hoping to make it effective on the 30th, but I did it to late, even though here in Germany we are a few hours ahead, I did it at night, and I guess it was to late, around 4:00PM ET.
I changed my Computer Clock Time to Eastern Standard Time, to keep me staright.

IG: also make sure when you do the intrafund transfer to wait until it totally loads. I have done the transfer then gone on to another page, causing the transaction not to complete.

Another thing to watch out for, is if you take too longwhen making your changes, the page will sometimes time out. Make sure you get the page that says your requesthas been received and will be processed within two business days after you submit your request. If you don't see that, redo the interfund transfer request from the beginning.:^

I get e-mail. I have never had a problem with a transfer, but I do know that clester had a problem once. That was back when those individuals with social security numbers ending with 8 or 9 were having problems. I think it only happen to him once.
