IMHO, the Fed blew it when they left the Fed Funds Rate unchanged. The
fight is against inflation. If the Fed raised rates, the USM might have seen
the dollar rise, oil drop and any hit on equities could have been marginalized.
Instead, we have a free falling USM, higher oil and a sinking dollar. The ECB
will likely raise rates. The Market will wait on the wording. If they give us
the hint of continuing rate hikes, the USM will take a crap. For how long is
anyones guess !

But since the Fed probably knows that we're really importing inflation, they didn't cut, knowing that the ECB most likely would... that way inflation is fought globally with the FEd not even having to raise rates. It may be painful in the short term, but i'm starting to think they did it right. I guess we'll see if the ECB rate hikes curb inflation, which it should. Most likely, if it plays out this way... its way too early to definitely play it (I may take my IFT off the table today, and wait for a clearer sign) Maybe i'm too optimistic or just blind. Not to be alarmist, but our market is already wide open. Was wide open before we signed a lot of those trade agreements. Barn door's open and the horse has left - especially when dealing with high agricultural tariff countries like Korea that have better access to us than we have to them - look what their farmers do as soon as it looks like their door's going to open (though I do admit we've given their agricultural lobby free ammunition with our problems in bovine spongiform eradication).

Thanks I feel better already. LoL - I did an IFT to the F Fund which sounds crazy but since it dropped to $12.01 that is a good entry point. If I make 2 cents between now and the end of the month I beat the G Fund.

I am looking to get in an the Google & Microsoft report should put people on notice this rally may end as soon as tomorrow even if Oil is down. I look for the Crooks as Robo calls them to sell of the Financials immediately and take that quick profit and then move right over to Oil. The same crooks that pushed the market up will drag it Down.
