Put your investment skills at work without losing real money. Good game to play, with a chance of winning some great prizes.

I wonder how many 'inside traders' they'll nail this year with the Portfolio Challenge.

I wonder how many entries and email addresses I can use before
they catch on that I'm only one guy trying to get rich quick.

Hows everyone doing? I think I remember last year and Sugar being way up there along with a few others... Almost as bad as my March Madness picks.. I think I'm like 157,000.... I'm heavy into oil stocks right now so at least I'm not losing like I started off last year..

Best of luck to everyone

John

They should include tax consequences for every short term capital gain and a long term capital gains tax on the ones that aren't traded during the contest time. That'll really separate those who know how to make money in stocks and those that don't. Also include dividends if they come into play. JMTC

Maybe CNBC should restrict the portfoilio challenge to just two trades per month. Lots of money to be made doing that! NOT....
