Hey TSP members...the deadline is fast approaching when- ( Jan 7th ) the TSP Board will be taking away our rights to move our monies amongst the various funds with our own personal choices ....
My new focus is the L-Fund Indexes...especially in this very UP and DOWN market is that the TSp board is pushing all TSP participants to jump in the L Funds and then they don't have to do anything to deal with our personal choices as we are accustomed to in making Fund transfers....
I claim that since Dec 24, 2007 not one day has the L-Funds gone up and millions of dollars have been lost to the Dragon Market and these losses far out weigh the costs involved in individual members moving their own monies to avoid such downturns in the market
This week because of my individual moves into the Bond Funds and "G" funds my wife and I enjoyed a $4,817.62 increase in our TSP balances....and that does not include our own payroll investing because we are in a non-pay week.
We helped increase the overall assets of the TSp system because we did not and will not just plop our money in the "Infamous " L Funds and then go bury our heads in the sand.
Has anyone heard from the Senators or Congress folks on this important matter yet ? I have contacted both and no word yet .
