I'd say with the election of Obama as the new president, people will take a wait/see attitude, although the Xmas rally will be muted somewhat.

Dow in the low 9000's would surprise me, but I'll stick to that 9200-9300 figure, and that's my upper limit, 8900-9100 my low limit, but more realistic.
More bad news to follow to limit the upside potential above 9200 max.

Gumby wins! Missed by just 155 points

350Z takes 2nd with a guess of 9000, which was off by 224, and Rod's 8100 missed by 676.

Interesting note:
Birchtree's guess of 17963 was off by 9087 points. The two guys (fabijo and peterson82) who guessed "1" were only off by 8775 points. :D
