Hi all,
I have always been very interested in buying and selling stocks. Several years ago, I took the plunge and started delving into stocks, mainly penny stocks, online. I had great luck right out of the starting blocks and made 250+ percent profit on my first several stock transactions. Since that time, I have become a little conservative and only purchase large cap stocks through DRIP accounts. They have made me money through the increase in their share prices and all of them pay great dividends.
About a year ago, one of my co-workers pointed out the TSPTALK website to me. I have read the TSP Talk Market Commentary most mornings since that time. I did not really get involved in most of the other aspects of this website. The combination of the commentary and several other websites have allowed me to become a little more confident about making Interfund Transfers with my TSP account.
Recently I began reading the message boards. I have read some great comments that have weighed in my TSP IFT decisions. While the comments in the message boards have helped me, I began to feel that I could get some of my questions answered if I registered for the message boards.
A little bit about myself: I have worked in the National Weather Service almost 19 years. Depending on how my TSP monies grow, I would like to retire in 11 years. I feel the more information I have to consider while making decisions will help me attain this goal.
I look forward to discussing the market and how we can all increase our monies in our TSP accounts.
