Looks like I may have missed the bus. I put everything into G effective today because the recent volatility scared me away. Now everything is straight up out of the gate. So now what? Do I chase it or wait for the 4th wave down? Like that commercial during the bubble, I can see myself jumping out of a first story window. :(

Hey guys, I feel your pain!:( I've missed the last two times we've had gains, but lord o' mighty, wouldn't ya know I caught all the recent losses!:X

Hang in there, there'll be plenty of opportunity to make some gains this year! In the mean time do your blood pressure some good and take a deep breath and say,

" I'll get 'em next time!"

By the way, has anybody else noticed the TSP is emailing receipts of transactions now? Does that mean that they won't send a snail mail copy(please excuse the expression, I myself am a devoted letter carrier, and feel self deprecation is healthy)

Great job with the site Tom, I've learned tons since following along thepast couple of months. I figure what I've lost monitarily I've gained in knowledge;)! Thanks !

Hi guys,

Thanks JerBer - I hope they do stop those snail mail confirmations. The email confirmation is a great improvement.

There is a lot of frustration that goes in to trading. You can't be right all thetime. I know how helpless you feel now. Reminds me of January when I watched a relentless market go up everyday while I was on the sidelines. At least you didn't miss this year's gains as I have. Aren't you still up like 5 or 6% for the year?

As you may have read in today's comments, I half expect another push down next week (hopefully next week) and you may be happy to be sitting it out. That's all speculation and I am trying to decide whether to put all or just some into the G fund in preparation.I too would hate to miss a run if this is the real deal.

puertorico - what % are you in the I fund today?

PR -

Thanks. For the record, I was 50% S and 50% I on Tuesday, not 100% I (I wish) :)

Light volume again today makes me a little nervous.

You'll have to excuse any mistakes I make in this post, I'm holding a Japanese sword up to my abdomen and it's making it difficult to type.

AB - I'm obviously joking. Like Tom points out above, I'm still ahead of all the stock funds this year, even after today's big gains.

If I were twenty one again I would not give of myself so freely on that first date with Margo. Honestly I swear I wouldn't but those pouty lips were so tantalizing at the time. You'll have to guess the rest not to encourage labial imagery.

Oh, Oh, I think I may be in trouble again. All she really wanted to do was drive my 1969 Triumph TR-6.
