A couple of weeks ago mortgage rates took a nice dip however they have now begun to creep up daily. I do realize that the rates are still at all time lows in the 6es. Does anyone see them inching back down in the weeks to come? Is it a mistake to assume that if the economy slows, banks will lower the rates even more? Are the rates right now, about as low as they'll get.

I'm getting ready to purchase a home and although they're low, rates keep climbing...
