Hey Greg, I like how you're track'in the actual results this season. Very nice!! I think this years gonna be really different, due to Fed/Rate cuts. Hoping to see all green, BIG until Christmas - no make that New Years! I think that pressure is mounting from White house, agencies, even financial institutuions to now hold off on gloom/doom until after that. Tracking this will be real interesting! I think you'll need more room at top of the chart! :D:D:D

Today's lost wiped out all of December's gain. I think this month has generally followed seasonality chart.

I'm not an expert but looking at this chart I would say a person should be in stocks for the first 4 days of the month then out for days 5 thru 11 and back in on day 12 for the rest of the month. If they followed this timing and used the C-fund, they would be up 2.91% month-to-date versus being down 1.18% that the C-fund done so far.

If they followed this timing and used the C-fund, they would be up 4.09% month-to-date versus being even 0.0% that the C-fund done so far.

How much value/weight would you place in the seasonality measures?
Does anyone else have some experience with Seasonabilities?

Looks like the assassination was the catalyst for a negative day and by the looks of the futures we will bounce back today.

Greg, I do see what you are talking about with the charts. This year is (IMHO) a bit different than an average year. I was counting on a steady move up this week until after around the 6th of January, but then we have things like the Pakistan junk, Oil on the way up (probably to $100), dollar tanking today. I'm still looking for a surprise ahead, but so far it's not working out. Seasonality is good info but lots of other markers to take into consideration. Anyway I've lost my butt in the last three weeks, what do I know?
