I've been following TSPTalk since I took a hit last February. I been with Legacy INS/Border Patrol for almost 23 years. I started net searching after the hit for a TSP help site and thankfully found TSPTalk. The only site I check daily. I started following what TSPTalk, Ebbnflow and Trader Fred were doing and checking and comparing what Paladin, GGal, 350Z, Nutts, Griffin and all the others who post on the TSPTalk site were doing. I came to the conclusion you guys and gals know what you were doing and that I could learn from you. Since you are in the TSP I know you are Feds like me. If I can not trust my Fed brothers and sisters, who can I trust to teach, guide and lead me now. Anyways, I hope I can gain more knowledge and be able contribute to the cause like all of you have done.

Welcome Lalo!
Got a retired Border patrolman down the street, and his son, who is to retire in a few years. They had a outdoor fajita supper, felt like a night in San Antonio.
Anyways, enjoy! See ya on the message board!

Hola Lalo, welcome to the MB.
Every time I go thru one of those check points and the Agent ask us if we are all US citizens, I’m tempted to say, “Si Senor.” :D

Thanks, I do not know if the reply is here, but to Gilligan's comment, I do when I go through the checkpoint. They must be bilingual.

Welcome- and glad to have you here Lalo!

We all learn gobs and gobs from each other.

And, perhaps someday, will be able to retire in relative good graces, with a nest egg that is larger because of all the information and learning we've done here!

Nice to have you here- and tell your coworkers about TSPTALK!

Good luck investing!

One of the reason for join now after viewing you'll work was to answer the call. Co-workers are now aware of the TSPTalk site at my sector and other sectors. Thanks again.

Hey Lalo,

I'm just a few hundred miles up the river from you. You'll learn a lot from these guys. I'd say about 25% of the officers I work with check this site daily.

I have been telling all the guys to at least look at the site. Most of them are invested in stocks and preferred not to move it around. "You can lead a horse to water, but can make him drink", the saying goes I believe.

Very true!
However, when football comes on Saturday and Sunday, I ain't gonna be drinking water!

I'm thinking barbecue ribs, buffalo wings, beer, margaritas. But heck, if they they want to cut grass and drink water, so be it!.....;)

I hope after eating all that, you are going to go down the road a bit and find a Porta Pottie to use. At home would not be good. :D
