T-Shirts - Top Posters

Here are the top posters so far in 2007 (Jan thru Aug). This is the list of those eligible for one of the T-shirts. They may not be ready for a couple of weeks but I wanted to start getting the packaging ready so I can get them out as soon as they do come in.

If you are on this list - thank you for all of your contributions! If you just missed the list, sorry about that. You are of course appreciated as well, but I just had to cut it off somewhere. You all make TSP Talk what it is.

So, if you are on the list and want your shirt, please PM me your name, shipping address, and the size T-shirt you want. Please put "T-Shirt" in the subject line of the PM so I can easily find them.

Also, if you prefer one slogan over anther, let me know:

- It's a No-Brainer!

I can't make any guarantees that I will have the exact size and/or slogan, but I'll try my best.

This post gets sent to the bottom of the barrell pretty quickly during the day. I have 20 to 25 replies for T's so far. I'm guessing some are missing the message. I want to get them all shipped out all at once if possible.

(love-to bike)...I believe the main purpose of the T-shirt slogan contest was to help advertise and promote TSPTalk by wearing the shirts. You aughta go ahead and put your order in, "for the Team".:D (just a suggestion)

It is not something I am trying to do and all.

I do appreciate the offer with this but, do not really look at myself as a qualified contributor at this forum.

I have learned much so far with the short time I have been here.

Sure. I'll make them available as soon as I get through the mailing of this first batch. It will probably be a week or two.

I picked up the shirts today so they should all be mailed out by the end of the week.

On the slogans, they printed 1/3 of each instead of splitting it based on the vote as I requested so again it may be a little tough to get them all out with the slogan you wanted in the size you needed, but I'll see how it works out.

I'm not crazy about the font they used on the back text but it will have to do. Next time I'll have to draw pictures instead of assuming they know what I mean.

If you are due a shirt and don't get it by the end of next week, let me know.

As I mentioned, by far the most requested slogan was, "Friends don't let friends buy and hold", and because the shirt place printed the same number of each slogan rather than in the ratio I asked for, some of you did not get the slogan you asked for as I ran out of some sizes for some slogans. I threw in an extra shirt for a couple of you who had a high post count but I ran out of the slogan you chose in your size.

A great advertising tool is a calendar. They can cost less than $1 each when bought in bulk, they can be mailed “media mail” for less shipping cost. In just about every office here they have the Unicor calendar from Levenworth, but some offices have advertisement calenders with scenic pictures on it. I would put “tsp.gov” on one corner and “tsptalk.com” on the other corner with some saying like “maximize your federal retirement” in between. I could post some up in break rooms where they would be getting the word out 24/7/365.
