I'm not finished with this book yet, but so far it has been pretty good about giving one some good insights into interpreting macroeconomic news. It helps you filter out the news and see what that would mean for a sector or the entire market. I wouldn't necessarily take this book as a rule book for interpreting news, but a good guide on how to start figuring out the current "personality" of the market. It gives a good overview of different economic views like classical, Keynesian, supply-side, new classical, and combinations of these. What I've read has opened up my eyes to a larger view of economics and the stocks, bonds, and currency market. I'd recommend this to anyone trying to get even the slightest grasp of the crazy market world.
