I consider this a bit early. But heck, Walmart is reducing prices on their toys for Christmas NOW.

Well, personally, or rather the better half, actually buys a great majorty of the next years "prizes" for the forth coming year. After Christmas/Holiday Sales are great!!

:)

Hooah!

Could it be that Wal-mart is just trying to unload some of those lead-paint tainted toys before they are recalled?

Color me skeptical, but I'm not a Wal-mart fan.

James,

Too true, but then all the "toy sellers" and many retailers in the US are being hit. It's just not being reported ("outloud"). Just think, now we have the "Dollar Store", and it was because an individual decided to do his own testing. Validity? I don't know.

But....

I would trust that if one were to buy a simple lead testing kit and swipe any toy (or any product) they would get reading that is considered "unacceptable", or not, which could be wrong.

Hmm.... Interesting...

Sorry, weird statement, but made me feel comfortable saying it! Basically, I voided myself. :) I think.
