I am about to turn that relatively new blessed age of 59 1/2. I'm still in school chasing degrees in college and better gov. jobs. I'll retire in a little over 10 years? I have a large family and just about all of them know of the new rule changes that involve age 59 1/2, i.e. no extra charges of withdrawals of any amount, etc.. I don't go out much, especially since Corona-virus. I would like to know, after I reach 59 1/2 is there another type of IRA account that gains a good return and is set to not allow you to take; i.e. no extra charges of withdrawals of any amount, etc.., except for maybe once per year, (until a certain age/year?)? I'd think then a certain amount would need to come out regularly?

Not exactly sure of your needs but Roth IRA's are pretty flexible...just need to pay taxes up front.
