Small caps are flashing a warning sign — ignore it at your ‘peril,’ says expert

Small caps are underperforming and, if history is any indication, it could be a warning sign for the broader market.

The Russell 2000, which tracks small-cap companies, is trading at its lowest relative performance to the S&P 500 since the financial crisis, according to data from Bespoke.

Lol,

I guess I should have read this before jumping into the S fund today. :)
Actually I have noticed this for the last few weeks, and it reminded me of 2007, when the C began steadily outperforming the S.
I'm just hoping that the Fed Euphoria can last in all stock funds, until they actually announce later this month. It then might be "Sell the News".

Seems like small caps snap back hard after a bad day, plus there's a bull flag fully developed on the Russell 2000, but it may need to act soon or it could rollover...
