Wall Street treads water ahead of Fed minutes
A dovish Fed and progress in trade negotiations have helped the S&P 500 rise about 18 percent from its December lows. Bank stocks rose 0.33 percent. President Donald Trump said on Tuesday that trade discussions with China were going well and suggested he was open to extending the deadline to complete the negotiations, saying March 1 was not a "magical" date.
