Stock-market ends sharply lower, erases 2018 gains for Dow and S&P
Stocks ended sharply lower on Tuesday after the torrid trading session pushed the S&P 500 and the Dow into the red for the year. All components of the blue-chip Dow and all 11 sectors of the broad-market S&P 500 ended lower.
