View Full Version : July 4th Weekend

Currently I'm 50 % C, 50% S. I'm going to go all G for Friday and then hop back in 100% stocks on Tuesday. Just another "gut feeling". Anyone care to join me?

To early in the day. need to read a little more. Do you foresee a sell-off tomorrow, if you don't I don't think I would jump out just yet.

I'm staying 100% S. It's treated me well throughout the week. I might as well finish out the week 100% S.

God Bless :)

Short-term investors may feel uncomfortable going into the 4th of July weekend with a large equity position (fear of a potential domestic terrorist attack). I can see why mlk_man might be nervous in the short-term.

Yes, part of my post 9/11 "Terrorist Factor".

OUCH! The market is not doing so great today.

Anyways, I have a question, why can't TSP allow our interfund transfers to be effective immediately if it is accomplished before the 1100 CST deadline???

Why can't it all be done in real time???

Are they just cheap on technology or what???

I agree, to late to change today though the TSP Bell just rang... I thought about going 100% C for tomorrow by the looks of things it seems to be taking the biggest hit today, hoping it would recover tomorrow, but oops it's to late.

Yep, looks like I was little too late on getting out of the stock funds, I'll be out tomorrow. Oh well, maybe it will bounce back, never know. How's the I fund doing today?

heh, dude, c'mon, it's the government!

Be happy it is not 6-8 weeks like it was originally. No, it is not Scottrade, but we can still have some fun.
