PC, Mac, iphone, android, etc.?

Browser? etc.PC, iPad, safari, chrome, IE, Edge, tried a bunch of different paths, finally got to post through by going to forum page and clicking on latest forum news post about logging in. Today “new posts” page would let me log in but on that page I was not logged in. Finally checked “remember me” and it seems to be working.

Wow, sorry for the hassle. I can't make rhyme or reason out of some of these situations -- unless it's IP related. We're still working on it.

Our firewall techs have been making adjustments. Please try a cache refresh (ctrl-F5 or even a reboot) to help make sure these changes are implemented on your PC.

Thanks

This link was veeeery slow to load "Latest Posts".
https://www.tsptalk.com/mb/
This link from the "Forums" page also takes me to the page but shows not logged in.

Last time I got the no log in page going from https://www.tsptalk.com/mb/ to https://www.tsptalk.com/mb/members-account-talk/19774-ravensfans-account-talk.html I clicked on "Remember Me" and I was still logged in.

In the pasture, not selecting "Remember Me" kept you logged in for a couple hours, selecting "Remember Me" would keep you logged in for several days. Maybe that has changed?

Not saying it's not on my end. Just trying to give TSPTalk more input.

Thanks.

Some have reported Norton software causing issues, and restarting it has helped. But unfortunately it seems to be operating system by operating system, browser by browser, and device by device. And that combination no doubt frustrates some and they may walk away. not good.

We'll keep plugging along. Thanks, and we appreciate your input!

I had some issues staying logged in this evening but am not sure what finally worked. Sorry, too much "clicking" around. I believe I finally went to the forum page from new posts after I viewed Notifications

So I started over.

manually entered https://www.tsptalk.com/ in freshly opened chrome
clicked on forum on the blue bar near the top (https://www.tsptalk.com/mb/)
typed in user name instead of using the remember function
entered password and clicked remember me
still logged in at /mb page, everything appeared to load including the ads
clicked on new posts and everything seems to be working normally

Thanks.

I am not using Norton, using AVG. I truly know what you mean by "operating system by operating system, browser by browser, and device by device". I struggle with this daily at work keeping applications working that suddenly stopped working. Usually when a win update, patch or some other upgrade is pushed. It does seem to be "device by device" Even VMware running XP or 2000 will suddenly stop working.

Good Luck.

I am not IT, I am a customer IT wishes were not a customer. They try but are mostly unsure of the cause of apps not working. It doesn't help that the IT techs usually only stay a couple months

Can you please send me a PM (private message) or email with the IP address from where ever the problem is occurring? Thanks.

I just got this email from one of our SSL (secure server) software providers and it explains why things may have changed recently.

We’ve been promoting the trust and security benefits of full website encryption (HTTPS on every page) for years now. In support of the same mission, major web browsers started labeling certain pages “Not Secure" in 2017.

Until recently, these warnings were limited to unencrypted (HTTP) pages that collect password or payment information—but not anymore. In July, Chrome dramatically expanded “Not Secure” warnings to include all HTTP pages.

Browser security warnings can cause cart abandonment, reputation damage and other serious problems for your business—act now to ensure every page of your site is secured with an SSL certificate.

So I will get with them to see if they can do a check of our site.

Is it possible for you to go in and delete all your cookies related to TSP Talk? You maybe bringing up old pages when trying to load one. It may help.

You may need to look up your specific device, but here's a start...

Let me know. Thanks!

Replying to the patio

Clicking on the submit reply button I get to this page.

I tried the submit reply button again and it was submitted.
I will try to submit this to report problems and send an email also.

To add to this today I am advised Google has updated Chrome for me and it acts different from before.

Cleared all cookies. Will check your link when time permits. Going to try to insert image of error.

Clicked go advanced and got same server error. Went back to this thread, clicked go advanced and it worked. Clicked restore auto saved content and the reply above appeared. Going to try to insert image.

Preview post shows it though HTML says it is attachment. Maybe everything I ever knew about HTML is wrong? Maybe clearing cookies did it?
