Dow set to rise amid signs of thawing trade tensions
U.S. stock-index futures climbed Wednesday, with a multisession advance that has been inspired by a rally in technology and internet shares intact as investors followed developments in trade talks between Washington and key global partners. Dow Jones Industrial Average futures (YMM18.CBT)*rose 121 points, or 0.5%, to 24,943, while S&P 500 futures(ESM18.CME)*added 4.65 points, or 0.2%, to 2,756.25. On Tuesday, the Dow (^DJI)*finished down less than 0.1% to 24,799.98, while the S&P 500 index (^GSPC)rose less than 0.1% to 2,748.79.
