hello all
its been along time since I have posted or read any of these messages. use to use this a lot to garner info on how to read charts or learn the different languages used by the stock market. it helped a lot. its also good to see some older members still here shout out to nnut bquat coolhand .... and a few others I am sure everyone is enjoying how the market has been the past few years I know I have. I quit the move money twice a month in hopes to guess right on the market fluctuations. most of the time my timing was always short or I stayed to long and got out to soon. so I started to do the Ron Popiel thing and "set it and for get it" approach worked out way better. I would set for a few months and maybe add more or put some in another fund. I actually left it 80C 20I(a Birchtree move) for all of last year and came out with almost a 20% up swing gain. WHOO WHOO. any way all just letting know that I am still alive and have not retired yet to enjoy the sweet bank roll in my TSP. take and have a good investing year.

like I said its been a long time. haven't really had the time or made the time. I will try to stop in every now and than. hope all is well with you. looking at 2020 for retirement from Military and Fed technician. will be sitting nice at the rate this market is going. I will be a young 57 with a National Guard(AIR) retirement of 40 years and FERS retirement of 30 years. I am the exception to the rule as of late for people working past 50-55 it seems. but I need to set a new precedent for the future so we don't let so many good people with so much knowledge go so early. our country is too great for us to kick the Military technician to the curb so young.

What should I do this year to increase my gains?

if you get dealt an 8-3, double down.

also, always split aces and eights.
