BitConnect nearly doubled over the last 24 hours. Anyone know why?

Ripple USD (XRP-USD)

Where are you buying Ripple? Thanks.

You can buy XRP on Poloniex. If you use coinbase to transfer your BTC the fees are expensive. Also, I was told last night that Bittrex will no longer support the US for exchanges so if anyone has a wallet on their exchange they might want to transfer it to another exchange. I'm not sure how to verify this information but I didn't want to take any chances on loosing what I had in it.

Green day for most of the coins. Ripple having a huge day as well as a few others, Cardano, Stellar, and NEM.

Nice! That ripple should give us some good trading opportunities when it moves to coinbase.

I sold some ethereum (a little too soon it looks like) on this run up and buying litecoin, which is lagging by comparison.

Me and a friend of mine have both been waiting over a month for bitstamp complete the verification process to be able to purchase XRP. You can sign into the account, but you can’t fund it until the verification is done. They just have a message saying that they are overwhelmed and working hard to resolve the issues.

Ugh, that hurts. I recommend Binance. Same day account creation. Can't put cash into it though so you would need to transfer bitcoin or whatever else from a wallet like Coinbase (which I also recommend and should verify your account the same day).

I started mining Alloy Coin last night. They just opened mining to the public on 1 Jan so it's brand new. That means easy blocks right now. I have 2 coins from letting it run overnight and then while I was at work and I'm using a pretty crappy laptop. I'll probably keep doing that for awhile to build up a little stash. They could be worth good money one day. Or they could be worthless. At least it's fun.

They also have what they call a bounty program, which is basically a referral program. If you want to check them out, please use my link: https://alloycoin.com/bh/1px0gvB7TcQlp9cI

Got the miner optimized and made another 4 coins last night. Up to 6 and should be able to average at least 4 a day now. Maybe less on the weekends if I'm spending more time on the computer doing homework and whatnot (like browsing tsptalk threads!).

Hearing some bad things about bitconnect. Have you been keeping up with the noise about it potentially getting shut down, or is that just FUD?

Ya I'm keeping up on it. Texas issued a Cease & Desist letter that now blocks the state's citizens from using the platform. It's always been kind a hot topic because of its pyramid type referral program. A lot of people think it's a Ponzi scheme, too. It's been going well for almost two years now so I'm not so sure. I'm waiting for this bitconnectx reveal on Jan 10. If I like what I see there, I'll probably stick around. If not, I'll start moving my profits out instead of reinvesting them.

Guys, read up on LEND coin (ERTHLend) This has the potential to change the way people borrow money to trade cryptos! I am quite positive it is going to be huge. I went all in on it yesterday.
It is .44 at the time of this writing. Im holding a position until it reaches at least $3.00 And I am quite sure that wont be long. I read the white paper on it and it is brilliant!

Not much out there on it. On their website I see, "TOKEN SALE OVER".

Any links to read up on it? Thanks

Meet CryptoKitties, the $100,000 digital beanie babies epitomizing the cryptocurrency mania
https://www.cnbc.com/2017/12/06/meet-cryptokitties-the-new-digital-beanie-babies-selling-for-100k.html

Players have spent the equivalent of $6.7 million and counting buying CryptoKitties, which can sell for as much as $114,481.59, according to third-party research from developer Niel de la Rouviere.
The ethereum-based kitten trading and breeding game clogged the digital currency's network this week, delaying at least one token sale and forcing CryptoKitties to raise its fees.
"From a high level, abstract point of view, this stuff is almost digital artwork, if you will. It doesn't have any inherent value other than what you think it's worth," said Joey Krug, co-chief investment officer at Pantera Capital, one of the earliest investors in bitcoin.

Just got a mining contract with Crypterra. Pretty incredible rates there compared to the rest of the cloud miners. They only accept btc and ltc for payment options though so it's not as easy for someone to get into if they aren't already in crypto currency. I got 2 years of 1.5 TH/s bitcoin mining for $192, paid in litecoin. Should be able to mine over $2K worth of bitcoin over the life of the contract. Doesn't get a whole lot better than that.

Over 30 coins now. I think they can get to the $10 range shortly after being listed on an exchange. Here's a neat video I just found on how to get started mining them, if anyone is interested:

Bought Cardano (ADA) last night at 4033 satoshis ($0.36), and we are around 4500 satoshis right now ($0.40). This is one of my favorite coins so I don't know yet if I will be taking profits after a bigger run up, or if I'm buying to hold long term. I'm kind of torn.

I really enjoy trading cryptos because it's 24/7 so I can do it at night after the kids are in bed or on the weekends or whenever. I don't have enough skin in the game yet to have a trading account and a long term hold account. Luckily, Binance is dirt cheap so I (we) can trade literally a few coins at a time if we want and it doesn't eat into earnings much at all.

Pro tip: buy 1 Binance coin (BNB) and set it to use BNB to pay for trading fees to cut the fee in half (0.10% to 0.05%). So if you trade $100 worth of crypto, the fee would be a nickel instead of a dime. $1000 trade would cost 50 cents instead of a dollar. You might need more than 1 BNB coin if you like to trade a lot or with a lot of money. Either way, it's absolutely worth it.

HAH, ohhh, duh! Ya it's crazy. I hear there's something like 1400 of them now. Most of them are tokens based on Ethereum's smart contract technology and have almost nothing to their name other than a white paper. ICOs can make money in the short term, but they are very risky too. I'm trying to limit my portfolio to coins that already have a product, or have a very good team behind them with proven track records and consistent updates/developments.

Bought Cardano (ADA) at 2740 satoshis ($0.29). It put in a giant reversal candlestick on the 1-hr chart at a long term support line. I'm not sure yet if this will be a short term trade or long term hold. I like this project a lot.
