Tech shares are up 16.5% this year, far lovelier than the overall market’s 7.2%, and the chosen few making serial all-time highs include Apple (AAPL), Facebook (FB), Amazon.com (AMZN), Netflix (NFLX), and Google parent Alphabet (GOOGL). While we’ve flirted with other infatuations—taking U.S. Steel (X) shares on a whirlwind romp from $21 to $42 and back down to $21, all in six months—lately we only have eyes for tech.
