Not really a strange news article- there are many places where beating a child with a belt will attract the attention of police- especially if the belt leaves marks.

I think the beating of a child with a belt, or any other object, is excessive.

But hey- that' s just me.


But then again, in some places, like Georgia, the local police tell parents that it is legal.

Against the law to spank your children in the USA! There Ya go, we have no PRIVACY or FREEDOM in the Nanny State! I don't believe in abusing your children, but I think it's a citizens right to punish his own children when THEY think they need it, it's a learning experience not meant to be abuse or torture.
