With 2 years to go until retirement and 53 years old, I have been all over the board with different fund splits. Right now i am 100% G for lack of anything better to do. Because of the time element, I cannot afford mistakes. Anyone have any advice? Thanks

SN, look at the L-funds. I don't mean buy one, I mean look at the the way they apportion themselves among the GFCSI funds. Even the L-Income has some equities in the mix.

What you see there is some free expert advice. They are saying we should never abandon equities entirely. This information helped me to determine my risk level.

In your case, remember that retirement is not necessarily the end of your TSP account. No matter what you do with it, you need inflation protection and equities can provide that.

Congratulations on making it this far!
