Oh, yeah... it's that time of year again. The 2014 NFL opener starts next Thursday, September 4th with the 'World Champion Seattle Seahawks' vs. the moldy, cheesy Greenbay Packers.

Uh, huh! That's right ! Let the trash talk commence... I can't wait to watch the Thanksgiving Day game with the Seattle Seahawks vs. San Francisco 40whiners. Mr. Bowl, you might want to eat a lot of turkey that day, cuz
the Hawks are gonna put the Whiners to bed by the half and, well, you'll want excuse to go to bed early too, and cry yourself to sleep.:toung: Feel the love? ;)

All in good fun. Hey! Tom! Shouldn't that football pool be starting this week; since next week is the first game?

It's going to be a tough way to start the season for my Packers. Hopefully the refs don't give the game to the Seahags, again. Maybe the hags will man up and play one on the Frozen Tundra, some day. :P

The Hags look like they are going to be tough to beat.

Sure, why not? The Hags are a different, but still a great, team away from Seattle, and on grass.

Been a crazy kinda NFL season so far with a buncha injuries to top players then of course the abuse situations with Peterson and Rice. Kind of a tough season to predict who's gonna end up on top in the end. I know a lot of people bank on Peyton Manning always riding his way to the Super Bowl, but New England's looking mighty decent this year after they got thumped by Kansas City.

Should be an interesting last 2 months.

kk, i will lay you a bet. 1 ounce of tsptalk custom fine silver, worth about $20, that the seattle seahawks do not win the superbowl.

if you win i will arrrange delivery of the silky smooth metal to your door. since you chickened out on the tsptalk silver purchase, if you win i will accept in return a buffalo wild wings gift card as payment in full. some like it hot.

the offer is good until gametime at 3:05 pm et 01/18/15. take it or leave it.

p.s. i'm.sorry i accidentally put that ipod through the laundry with all those songs on it. it is a running joke in my family now whenever one of them comes on the radio... 'hey, i used to have that song... on my ipod'. freakin' little smartass never forgets anything.

as konakathy does not seem ready to make a deal, are there any other seahawks fans out there that want to bet? i am offering 1 ounce of custom tsptalk silver (currently valued at $21.78) that seattle does not win the superbowl.

of course i think the seahawks are the likely favorite, i lived there for years and got my degree from uw. but in order for me to lose the bet seattle has to win twice. in order for me to win they just have to lose once. and i am a gambling man so let's put it on the line. if you lose and do not have tsptalk silver to pay up you can order from tom or else i'll accept an approximately equal value buffalo wild wings gift card.

Ya know I am old and confused but am thinking that the Colts should be from Baltimore and the Ravens ought to be called the Browns and from Cleveland and the Cards ought to be in St Louis and the Rams LA. Don't get me started on MLB, NBA or NHL. So the team that should be in Cleveland lost to the team that possibly should be in Miami and now the team that should be in Baltimore is playing the team that should be called the Boston Patriots but plays in Foxboro and has to be called the New England Patriots to include the poor people to the north. The winner of this game will play the team that maybe should be in Miami at a stadium named after a virtual college with no athletic teams where the team that should be in St Louis plays.
