Friends Don't Let Friends Buy and Hold

I rarely watch Jim Cramer's Mad Money anymore, but sometimes it's on while I'm on the computer and I'll hear his monolog. Today he said something that surprised me a little because I agree with him. I stopped, and took down what he was saying...

"Please don't confuse being a good investor with the idiotic ideology of buy and hold. Or as I skeptically dub it, buy and forget. Buy and hold has been the conventional wisdom for decades, and this one bad idea has lost more money for people than the last two crisis [in finance?] combined."

He goes on but I stopped taking dictation.

For those who may not know, we were looking for a slogan for TSP Talk 7 years ago (can you believe it) and we had a contest to see who could come up with the best one. It was weatherweenie (http://www.tsptalk.com/mb/site-news-announcements/4675-slogans-wanted.html#post108413) who won coming up with "Friends Don't Let Friends Buy and Hold" and we've gone with that ever since and used it for T-shirts, etc.
