Has anyone noticed if the impact from Katrina is affecting the speed with which you can move money into or out of the various funds? TSP used to be pretty good about getting you into the fund the next day if you made your allocation changes by noon the previous day. Has anyone noticed any changes in this since Katrina hit?

Customer service using the TSP's Internet site is unaffected due to relocation of computer servers and the processing of data at an undisclosed location in Northern Virginia. See article:

I have a friend who use to workat the back-up site for the Nasdaq and he could never tell anyone where he worked except to say "around Washington DC somewhere". Well duh, we live 40 miles from DC so I assume he worked around DC.........:oo
