the forum site is so slow and it took so many attempts to log in that i thought maybe i got banned.

maybe a weekly reboot to clear the server cache before the animals come out on the weekends would help. also music videos slow things way down so i'm gonna quit posting those and see if that helps.

Nope, its bad here, but I usually attribute it to the bad connection here... until I can get to other sites just fine... then its Tom's fault ;)

This is crazy..It took me 8 minutes from log on to get to this point to post...Something is seriously wrong with the site to be this SLOW..I tried all the different browsers too...all about the same...It was the same ALL DAY yesterday as well..

I'll check back in about a week to see if anything improves...

I'm not having any problems either...probably because I'm not using Safari...I'm borrowing a computer using IE.

It is very slow. We've been discussing it in another thread. Working on it - which will probably make it even slower for a while.

Seems like it has gotten a little faster since I last posted, not much though..Like I said..I was on a Government system yesterday and it was just as slow there as my home puter, which I'm on right now...

I know you're working on it Tom..I meant no irritation towards you..just letting you know how it is effecting my LOG-ON..

Hope you get it fixed soon.....thanks for your efforts..

I always appreciate the heads up. Sometimes I don't know there's a problem until I read my email and see these notifications from the "Report Problems" area. I just wanted you to know that our hosting folks were already aware of it. Thanks!

From our techs:

it seems that this time, it wasn't a database issue but it seemed be coming from high server loads caused by apache.

OK, who is putting all the high pressure on apaphe? It's probably those damn high frequency traders again!

I don't know about Apaches, but the Lakota are pretty ticked off about that Keystone pipeline- and they have a lot of pull.
