I stole this idea from Imus: Name your Musical Mount Rushmore. That would be 4 groups, singers, etc., however you might interpret the 4 most significant forces in music, changed music, music greats, etc.
It's tough to name just 4 and it may change for you depending on the day you ask. Anyway, here's mine...
1) Beatles
2) Led Zeppelin
3) Michael Jackson
4) Elvis
I'm not a big Elvis fan, but he's on there because of how he influenced the music world at the time.

Hmm, wow, 4 eh? Alright:
1) Beatles
2) Jethro Tull
3) Rush
4) U2
It's funny, because I don't own a bunch of U2 records, but there's no doubt in my mind they have a place in there. Too few, how can Jimi not be in there?!? As Tom stated, maybe tomorrow....

Nice... Rush. They would definitely be on my top 4 bands that I like (maybe top 2), but they didn't make my Mount Rushmore.

If I were 17 years old hanging out with friends listening to music, this topic would probably suck up a number of hours of our youth in "serious" debate. At least at that time would have been serious - I mean, not that it's not serious now!:cheesy:
