Can anyone elaborate on how to use this utility. Here's the link: TSP Talk - Thrift Savings Plan Strategies (http://www.tsptalk.com/utilities/instructions.html)
Do I need to input the end share prices of 2013? If I just made a IFT on 5 Feb
14 and do I input the end share prices of the closing day? Also, is
there a way to enter my current balance and have that be inputted into excel
reflecting the current changes day to day. See attached file. Thanks.
Yes to 1 & 2
No to 3 (you would have to create the formulas yourself)

Also, if I don't make an IFT since my last one, do continue to input the same value in the fund allocation area? i.e. G 50% and S 50% and then change it when I make an IFT with differenet values? Thanks.

In between IFTs you can update your share price daily or just update the shares when you've made an IFT. Jump in head first, you'll know you're doing it right when your returns are accurate.

Ok. My excel chart show a negative return of 2.10%, but autotracker in TSP talk shows negative 0.21..can you check this out? Perhaps I'm confused, I think I'm inputting my IFT rather than my contribution percentages. ?? Thanks.
You did not start the Auto Tracker at the beginning of the year, therfore those are not Year to Date returns.

Put the current share prices under the middle red circle, make sure your alloation is correct in the right circle, make sure 2013's last share precies are in the middle circle
