THANKS PYRIEL for the help getting this together. Pyriel has been putting all the moves into a spreadsheet, and I've been doing the monthly totals. I would not have the time to do this tally if it were not for him.

I started keeping track of a few people I know are faithfully posting there moves. I like to see how people are doing. You should not use just this post to judge how people are doing totally because we don't have a long track record yet. As an example, someone could do very well in October but have had a very bad July/August.

I got these numbers using the post from each account talk list. If you are a regular poster but I missed you it was because I either felt you were not posting regularly, posting moves too late after deadline, thought you had quit or you were not posting in the right place. You had to be posting prior to May 31 to make this months list.

Since there are so many people posting, I'm not going to add you up if your post are too confusing or it looks like you missed some post (ie. you refer to a move that you made 3 days ago but did not post in your account). I'll catch you next month when you get it straight.

Extras:

Dakota is back.... I thought he'd quit posting and dropped him. He's back on the list. (Pyriel, you missed a May 10 transfer by Dakota...I'm sure he wishes he had left it alone.)

If I missed you and you weren't included, respond in this thread and I or Pyriel willadd you to the list or let you know where you confused me (us). There are so many new faces that it would be easy for someone to fall through the cracks.

Pyriel/Namor I got the PM but did not see anything wrong. I think I'm missing part of the discussion.

I'll be out the next 2 weeks so it might take me a awhile to respond, don't think I'm ignoring you.:^

Thanks for your work Fundsurfer. I have a question but skip it if it would mean more work for you. Pyriel's last tracker has Dakota at 5.72% YTD. Do you know why the discrepancy?

FundSurfer
07-08-2005, 05:12 PM
Yes, Pyriel missed a trade on May 10 when Dakota went to 10%G, 30%C, 30%S, & 30%I from 100%S. S did very well and 100% S would have had a much better return.

Yours and my numbers are usually a little off, but usually not that much. Unfortunitely I don't have my file with me to recheck. Have to admit I was doing this fast so I could get out of town. I have a feeling I know where the error is and it is probably on my side.

I don't know about anybody else's numbers, but you transposed my May and April columns.I had a loss in April and May was a gain.

Not to be critical, but if you are going to post numbers like it's a competition, they should beas accurate as possible. Little mistakes like that and people will begin to distrust theTALLY altogether.

Thanks for your correspondence, Pyriel.

Good luck in your investments.

Oh.
Why was it done that way? It gives the appearance "they" are covering forMLK_Man when he is on the bottom of the list.

Greg:

Where are your numbers? I can't see them. Why are MM's numbers (or anybody else's for that matter) so important to you that make you see the appearance of a cover up?.

This is a great website (thanks Tom). Pyriel and FundSurfer contribute more to this board than most of us and they should be commended for it. "They" spend a lot of their valuable time keeping track of everybody's moves, providing technical support when requested, etc,. "They" do it with no strings attached. Why the mud?

Those two act like they've been married for fifty years - there is still romance there but they just don't like each other any more. Do I have that correct? Heck, I've got my own problems - I have to go stand in the corner and be lashed with gentle chastisement because my oceanic account is a practicing nudist. But nudity gives you such freedom, especially of expression.

As you can see greggy, I'm not very good. The challenge is still there if you would like to accept it. Act like an adult for a change . Otherwise, shut your pie hole.................you're starting to get old. Oh, and boring too...............

Remember, this is just my opinion and should not be used by anyone to sway one's own judgement. Most people have at least a little common sense and know the difference between a rock and a cow pie after all.......................:^

Greg,

I will need a second eye. Please pick another person to verify my track sheet. I'll still be the final say and will be reporting returns. Since goal is to have highest return, I will not be breakingreturn percentage by month. I'll only report the total return on a weekly basis. I'll also create another topic whichI will name the "Milkman vs. Greg."I'll postboth of your return there and will not allow anyone to post within that topic. With this one, i'd like to be a little stricter, by not allowing any movethat goes beyond 1200est (Even if itis 1 minute late). Please keep your "Account Page" clean by not cluttering them with explanations or comments. You can do that in your "Account Talk Page." If this is ok with both of you, pleaselet me know.

Someone made the suggestion that we move the "Account Talk" posts to the "Members' Allocation Talk (http://www.tsptalk.com/mb/forum1/)"forum and just keep the USER Account postsin the Member Allocations, Transactions and Returns (http://www.tsptalk.com/mb/forum21/)forum. It should make it easier to follow.

I was going to start some time today, but if you are bored, you can start moving some as well. (I think you have permissions?) Make sure the "Leave redirect in this forum" is unchecked when moving. Thanks!!

I am sending this here and not in a PM so everyone knows they are being moved.

I don't think this is good for tsptalk.com in general. It's a personal, private little flame war that is escalatingand it should be restricted to emails between the two of you.Quite frankly, I don't care who wins, but by your both bringing it to thepublic postings, we all lose.

Yo! Greg...Mike

Have yall got Tom's permission? Oh I see you have!

You are gonna need a moderator, uh referee! For this contest!

You gotta keep it from being a free-for-all. U need a forum (a ring). Some rules, like no super large fonts! No biting! A corner to rest in. And maybe a ring asssistant. Who is gonna keep score? Do U want weekly results? Gotta work out the details!

If U keep it civil. It would show your, well it would show your character. I enjoy both of you guys. But, Do what you must! It's just has to be a sport, or in that vein!

PS: I don't agree with banning, thats sort of like "branding". Maybe, the winner should get a prize. Maybe WW could make up a special avatar. Sort of like the wrastler folks with their prized belts, whatever! The looser gets the compliments of being a good sport and trying his/her best.

Well, anyway, my 2 cents!

Take care :D Spaf

Hey WW!

If Greg wants a big belt buckle.... fine! Need to find out what Mike would like?

The winner gets a avatar for 6 months with their prize. You can make up the avatar!

Some more rules:

1. Only use TSP accounts for reference.

2. Only be on the forum while TSP is open! No Saturday, Sunday or Holiday sparing!

3. An assistant should have the option of calling a halt if it gets out of reason.

4. At the end of the contest we are all members, friends, and government slaves!
