Soon enough everyone will have smart phones with 4g and no need to loaf on the work computer. The loafing will get done just the same though.

Most of my career has been to surf the web for fixes for computer programs.

Then I switched to database management....The reports I run take 30-40 minutes and compilation of code leaves many times where I wait.

Hence, I get the chance to pass time learning new things. Last year alone I completed 150 hours of CBTs and learned tons of acquisition stuff.

I know a lot of surfing occurs, but many in my office use the web for enhancing their knowledge in programming.

Being on-line is not loafing.....but I know many think it is.
