I'm looking for formulas or examples that can be used to backtest system trade % changes between the various TSP funds while maintaining an accurate accounting of the overall balance (accounting for the impact of contributions during the course of a year as well would be a plus). I'm pretty good with Excel and have seen a few files that allow for backtesting system allocation changes but noticed a calculation error in those that should be corrected.
