Current gain/loss standings for the funds updated through April 15th (only for this month)

:v F funddown 2.05% down 21 cents since March 31st close

:^ C fund up .34% 4 cent gain since March 31st close

:v S fund down 1.36% lost 18 cents so far this month

:v I fund down 1.12% lost 15 cents so far this month

When in and out of funds during the month you will need to monitor closely when your in an out of funds to accurately track your gains and losses. Monitoring the actualcash value is necessary.

I use the spreadsheet that Tom provides to track my gains and losses. I'm not a "spreadsheet" guy so Tom had to work with me (via e-mail) but now that I've got it all figures out I'm very happy with it. I just plug in my allocation changes and update the share prices and it tells me exactly how I am doing.

Sorry if I just tripled your workload Tom.

You've been pretty quiet lately Wheels. :x ??

That is a neat spreadsheet (http://www.tsptalk.com/utilities.html) but it is a bugger to explain as you can attest. One of our readers had a friend make some cool updates to it. It now can automatically inputthe new share prices for you each day at the touch of a button. There were a few bugs and you still have to make a bunch of changes when you make an allocation change but one day I, or one of our smart members, will figure out how to make that easier.

I do like Duke's updates. Neither my spreadsheet nor the TSP site tell you how the funds are doing in the current month which is something I like to know.
