Major markets in Asia (http://edition.cnn.com/2005/BUSINESS/04/06/asiastocks.wednesdayclose.reut/index.html) closed higher Wednesday after the fall in oil prices. Major European (http://money.cnn.com/markets/world_markets/) markets were mostly higher in early trading, although London's FTSE was slightly lower.

Plus the dollar is slightly down early.

Oh well. That didn't last long. Dollar index now up about a third of a percent.
