I can't figure that one out either. How off can it be?

Are your comments on what happen to share price profits that should have appeared in the I fund? I was nearly 100% invested and the EAFE fund, and it appeared to have close to a full 1% increase. Also, the dollar generally showed loss and should not have diminished profits. However, the I Fund yielded nothing, 0. I was looking for a 12 to 17 cent per share increase.

The problem with the I fund is it is set up so it doesn't close where you can actually read it but you have to time it. Anyone that moved yesterday will see it in there transfer. The I closed in the states at $15.37 which I was hoping it would do. You receive that closing price during the after hours it went up as the international markets open earlier now you will see your shares much higher value then what you bought them at close because they adjusted the value of the stocks. So were ahead of the game at the ring of the bell!!!!

Cowboy, you lost me. Wilshire 4500 site shows a 1.25% increase. I've was invested 2 days earlier, 3/28.

Yep I lost myself on that post! I got too excited the fact is if you can time the I fundcorrectly and you see it not moving and the international markets are appearing to be up you can move into it and catch the gains. It has nothing to do with transfers, it is just the nature of the beast! It adjusted after the bell now it will play out all day and we should see some gains!!!

Did you cite a I fund timing note earlier, where you can get a share price bump when the Far East/European markets were closed down in the early morning, but US markets show good gains by ~11:30am.

I've always been a little puzzled on the I fund / Wilshire 4500. It's invested in the US when the East/European markets are closed, but moves with the US markets.

Perhaps today is cashing in day. Individually, the East and European market showed good gains, closing early this morning, 3/31. What bothers me is, although the 3/31 Wilshire 4500 already shows new gains, it may dip and finish negative. Will, what was profits, then disappear in to eitherness?

Yes! The bump came already this morning when we were up 1.25 now were down to .65 currently if it doesn't move too eratically we should see a nice gain and I do believe it may even gain again tomorrow.

Delayed effect to the I fund share price? - I fund did register a 7 cent increase, even though the EAFE index showed next to 0 change for the same day, 3/31. Although the dollar value did drop, I can best attribute the increase, and delayed effect, to the near 1% increase of the prior day, 3/30.

Note: Earlier post of this thread to Wilshire 4500 index was meant to be to the EARF index.
