Poll: Is the Home Page Slow?

A few folks have experienced a slow response time while on the TSP Talk home page (www.tsptalk.com (http://www.tsptalk.com/)). There is a lot going on there so there may be something that browsers are stalling on. I have had some intermittent issues, but for the most part it loads relatively quickly for me.

Please respond to the poll above so I can get an idea how widespread this problem may be.

Also, if you have a minute, I would also appreciate you posting your approximate load times below, and the browser you use (IE, FireFox, Chrome, etc.)

IE9, 3 to 4 seconds

Firefox, about 3 seconds

IE 8, first load ~8 sec, subsequent ~3-4 (including CTRL-F5).

Earlier today I had some very slow response for several hours. It was 30 to 60 seconds to come up.


Now it appears to be working fine- loads in 5 to 10 seconds tops.

I'm one of the "Maybe 11-30 seconds" votes. I have the problem intermittently, usually around the opening bell for the trading day. I assumed it was because this site gets a lot of traffic at that time.

I guess the good news is that the first report was that it took 45 seconds to load, and there are no over 30 seconds votes yet.

The home page accesses the AutoTracker and the forum databases, so yes Sensei, it could be a timing issue, but still anything over 5 or 6 seconds concerns me.
