I saw this on the business section of Yahoo a few days ago. It's a short article originally obtained from The Motley Fool. It helps put things in perspective while the Presidential hopefuls beat your head full of "the sky is falling" and related hyperbole to scare you into rash decisions. The bottom line seems to be that while things are gloomy many commonly held beliefs aren't really close to true. I only wish that someone with the juice could inject the reality of government employees to the super committee as it relates to that "average salary" of $125,000 figure being thrown about so freely. If nothing else it may leave you feeling a little better about the current state of the US. and things in general. ;)

Hey, What kind of SERVICES do we get from China? I can understand the GOODS part of the calculation but services are like counting all of your potatoes and including the rocks, rigged!
I didn't look at the others due to the obvious inappropriate data used in the first one.
