Their have been a lot of space program themed shows on TV lately. One show I caught that I did not think would be about space was Smithsonian channels “Atomic Age Declassified”. It goes on about a secret, parallel astronaut program run by the military. Look up “manned Orbiting Laboratory”.
Thanks for posting these articles nasa1974. For those of us alive at the time it is a great reminder of things we didn’t think about much while getting along with life and our society apparently falling to pieces. For those not yet alive, this is one of the things the US was doing during those times.
