Actually, to be fair, he said he ("The Omni") "was neutral ... but if you put a gun to his head," he'd call more upside.
Here's what I've noticed since the 90's: Talking heads and armchair pundits usually straddle the fence. They are long ... but ... their other spidey sense is saying short. "Long, but we could still see some selling." "Long, but I wouldn't be surprised at some selling." Etc. etc.
Ask these folks to post their clear cut calls ... real-time calls talk louder than the wishy-washy commentary, imo. You aren't really going to go long and short equally, overall, in the same instrument.
