Enjoyed the game last night. Lots of fun. Mangoes, coconuts, and other fruits were vibrant in the discussion. No idea why we went there. Thanks all.

Got home last night 1030pm from a going-away/promotion party an hour from here, for the youngest member of my professional subgroup in my local organization. Been with us about 2.5 years since she graduated with her bs, after working with us as a coop-ed student while in school. I've been her senior mentor since she graduated and came onboard full time.

going to miss her greatly, but got to let the young ones spread their wings and fly when the time comes. She's ready, and will gain great additional experience where she's headed, that we don't have the capacity locally to offer her any time soon. Bright, quick study, enthusiastic, extremely productive, constantly positive and smiling, eager to keep learning and improving her professional skills and performance. Wish we could keep her. And no, she's not Anglo.

Planned on playing but got distracted near game time. I'm glad it was a good game again, but not surprised.

8 players. 2.25 hours. hard fought to the last hand. premium poker play. skills improving across the board. nice show berry, two firsts and one second place in three weeks. that is most likely not a coincidence and now repeatable. big money big nuts. tricky tricky tricky.

Hi Burro. Well I am hoping it is not coincidence... maybe its that "crazy" stratezzy I been using. I do believe I need to read more on probabilities. I definitely got into some hands yesterday that I quickly realized were a big mistake. Sometimes I closed my gills and exited and a few times I just had to take a bite to know what a player had. I think our tables are pretty tough. You all are a bunch of meanies and I don't know why you all treat me sooo very mean...I just don't understand it... and especially since I'm so very very sweeeeeet!!!!

P.S. Love your new festive avatar!! ...looking at it makes me feel like pinching your nose!!!! Honk..Honk!!

I was thinking the same thing about you. Stop flopping sets when I have top pair!

I did get lucky on that last hand, sorry. But my chip lead and blind size made me have to call that hand with just about any 2 cards.
