Some said they saw him over the south end of town, others said they saw him over the north end, some even swore they heard reindeer on their roof tops, but despite the rumors Santa did not show up today baring gifts for good little bulls and girls. We didn’t want to do it for sake of ruining the surprise, but we too were a bit concerned after the early morning head fake and put a call directly into the North Pole. The following is a dialogue from our conversation.

”Santa, this is the Rev. I’m here with the Q-man.”

”Ho Ho, Hey there, Rev. Good to hear from you. How’s my account?”

 

“You’ll be pleased Santa, but we’re really starting to get curious about this year's rally. Did we do something wrong? Early today it looked as if you had arrived, many proclaimed that you’d landed but we were disappointed.  What gives?”

 

“Ho  Ho Oh, Rev, you know I always send my little elves out ahead of me. Today I sent down some good breadth for a treat and I hope you enjoyed it.  I also gave you a little taste of small cap upside just so you don't lose interest and aren't prepared for my visit.  Networkers, Biotechs, Retailers, they were all there Rev didn’t you see them? The Semi conducting elves will be down soon just, tiding a few things up around the shop. Seems everyone wants little gadgets this year”

 

“So, it sounds as if the stage is set. You sure the weather looks ok for your travels”

 

“Yes, all should be well. I have heard that gas is a bit high, so I’m gonna be putting some pressure on Rudolf to pick up the slack. Other than that, I don’t suspect to be running behind schedule.”

 

“Thanks Santa, just checking in. I've been expecting you and I know you won't disappoint us”

”No problem Rev, I'll do my best. Just make sure you are ready and leave me a slug of Bailey's Irish Cream in my hot chocolate. Lots of ground to cover this year”
