I probably will not be successful, but I wrote the TSP Board and asked them to consider changing the two (2) Interfund Transfers per month restriction to four (4). I hate having only two. If you feel the same, please send a letter, and maybe we can get the restriction changed. It only takes a few minutes. Send your letter to:

Best of luck

It never hurts to try. I'll do it.
Welcome jkenjohnson !
Interesting idea - I believe I will post the TSP address and subject on my organization's lounge room bulletin board with the hopes of stirring up some folks... We definetly need more than two IFT's per month!!

Thanks for all the positive feedback. Please tell all of your firends in the TSP. Hopefully there is POWER in the number of people that write the Board.
Does anyone have a fax number for them?
www.faxzero.com makes it easy.
FRTIB FAX (202) 942-1676 - Braveheart posted this number a couple years back!![]()
If I'm curt with you it's because time is a factor. I think fast, I talk fast and I need you guys to act fast if you wanna get out of this. So, pretty please... with sugar on top. Post the IFT!!!
TSP board are govees and were hoodwinked by real money mangers, i.e. Barclays, who were losing their a$$es like all the other 'money managers', and were grabbing at straws to save those a$$es. Just like SEC didn't care cuz not their money, and were/still are too incompetent, for example to review Madoff a little closer. Was a real nice perk to have unlimited IFTs...spoiled us.
I'm waiting for James' research on the "trading cost" reduction benefits before I fax my letter. If I know James, he probably has a doozy in the works.
