contact your personel office if you have one. If not then you need to request them from TSP directly.
Form tsp 50 is not available either internally at IRS, nor is it on the National Finance Center (payroll) site.
So just how would I make a transfer by snail mail if I needed to?

Obtain and complete Form TSP-50 from the TSP Service Office (This form is not available online)
Hope this helps.![]()
Nope. Others here have already posted that they tried to get from TSP, and were told they didn't have them.
And as I said, I've already tried internally.
Next?

Wife's response:
"She would have to get it from her personnel office or her payroll office".
Ok. According to TSP you can't get this document from the internet because it needs to be read using an optical reader, or something like that. Does that mean it has special characters or inks, so it can't be photocopied? It's not likely your personnell office is going to give you a stack of them.
Is this the way they are going to avoid getting TSP IFT's every day express delivery (since the snail mail penalty is the only one in place)? Just my paranoid thoughts *squawk*.

I just asked the Wife if she can get some of these forms. Waiting for a response.
Good Subject. GGal... I better get prepared.![]()
As I've said, we don't have them internally, I've already checked. And I've already checked with the National Finance Center (our payroll office.)
Bottom line, nobody has these forms, because we've been doing the transfers over the phone and on the internet.
Should someone inform Tracy?

Interestingly enough It seems like this form is very hard to get. It cannot be photocopied from my research.
Isn't it funny that it is a hard form to get when they are talking putting restriction's on INTERNET IFT's and possibly using Snail Mail?
I will continue my research and update as thing's progress.![]()
Folks, this just confirms that the whole threat of forcing folks to make IFT's via snail mail is a bluff. They never intended to do that (at least not for many months, if ever), so they never thought there would be a need for SF-50 forms. The fact that these forms are not available is GREAT (for us), because there is no way they can even attempt to force folks to make IFT's via snail mail, when we can show that the forms for doing so is not available. This whole warning letter thing was not thought through very well by FRTIB, and now it is being exposed for what it is - nothing but a bluff. I say continue to make your IFT's via the tsp.gov website as you always have.....nothing is going to change anytime soon.
