I actually was going to post about this as well but changed my mind becuase it actually benifited me more this time.
I noticed that my contribution was not posted on tsp.gov as it usually is on the monday of pay week. Any one else notice any problem?

TSP SITE DOWN Transations
at 11:40
The account balance information is current as of close of business, Tuesday, October 27, 2009 .
Special Notice: Due to technical difficulties, the Account Transaction site is not available</B>.
NNuut,
Can we Kaliforneeans just sue em - I mean TSP?
We sue everybody here.
This downtime could cost folks like BirchTree Billions!!! Me, tens of pesos.
Or, we could have TSPTalk initiate a class action suit.
It would probably beat our market returns!
Lookin' up at the 'G Fund'!!!
Well, well. Good thing I didn't want to place a trade today, eh?"
12:00 today:
We ought to let them know we are not happy campers today.
Special Notice: Due to technical difficulties, the Account Transaction site is not available.
I smell a rat. Wonder what's up.
My guess is They really are having 'Techinical Difficulties' and it really stands out to us because all of us are so aggressively involved with the TSP System.
Now if we were had 500 to 700 point drops... and big new flashes about the Markets Tumbling... that would be one thing...
but maybe everything really is 'innocent'
Something else went wrong with the TSP site not long ago. I remember seeing something about password changes hadn't been saved by the system and if you had changed your password that day you needed to do it again.
Their website has not been fully functional for at least a week, i missed a trade opportunity this morning too. I never noticed how crappy tsp service and limited options for account management were until i recently got involved with a private online brokerage, makes tsp look like a ibm selectric typewriter compared to blackberry. at least we don't pay for it, oh wait we do through fund management fees i assume which reduce return %.
i wish tsp had a suggestion box, i'd like to stuff something in it.
