I was watching Bloomberg TV this morningand it looks like the S&P 500 is starting off nicely!Does your jump to 100% I for tomorrow have something to do with this? Perhaps the delayed reaction of the international markets?

So this will be a one day move to the I fund, retreating back to the G the next day?
One thing I don't like to see whenI make this I fund transfer, isthe EAFE up big also, as it is today. I hope we don't get caught in some European market profit taking tomorrow. But Japan usually really likes when our Nasdaq is up big.
i also have used that strategy, if the dow ,s&p and the nasdaq are all up , s&p and nasdaq up double digits ,and the dow triple digits , i invest in the international fund.
i have an account that i can move in and out of before the 4 oclock bell, but since so many people have used this strategy, it has halted trading for 90 days into that fund
I wish we had until 4:00We've beentalking about that I fund strategy but haven't put it to the test too many times this year. How has it worked out for you hopeto in the past? I guess you've said they stopped allowing you to do it, but before then?
Looks like the Nasdaq has hit some resistance at the 2000 level. We'll see if the bulls have the momentum to break through or if it will trigger more selling if the resistance holds.
The Nasdaq couldn't break 2000 but it was another big day.I just can't figure out why we aren't seeing more volume. It makes me nervous.I hate to sit on the sidelines and watch this but for short term traders, it doesn't look like a good time to get in.
I just hopeJapan and Australia can give us something tonightjust in case Europe gives back some of its gains tomorrow.
I'm starting to hate this I fund allocation for Tuesday. Japan opened up big Monday and hasgiven a 100 point gainback as I write this.PlusI can't can't help but think that there will be some profit talking in the European markets Tuesday.
I'll have to rethink this Ifund strategy.

Good Moorning to all of you.......I discovered this website by mistake and I like itsince it seems to try to explain what nobody else can, the TSP phenomenon. I started playing with the allocations since October 2003 and so far I have been lucky. I have not lost any money ! ! I go into the I Fund and get out, but could you guys tell me more about your strategies. I have 100 % I fund. Thank you. I am learning and it appears that I take many risks with it but I am learning. Thanks![]()
Welcome Victor -
Glad to have to you. I would suggest you look around the site at the different pages: About us, the funds, returns, etc. The comments page is updated daily and I keep an archive of them. There is a lot of info out there. After you take a look around, or if you have specific questions, I'll be glad to help.
Thanks,
Tom
